I Hit a pothole about 6 months back. Can that damage this CV Joint you are talking about? It's slowly started making a noise about a month later. Now I am going to replace it in a few days. Just wondering what kind of noise it would make... I know the Clunk clunk or clack clack when turning on a bad axle... but this noise is different

Looked like the cable broke up on the arm. The cables look like standard bike brake cables. I bet you could make your own with them if you get the length right and re use the end sstops.

thanks for the review, I just ordered the universal sliders for my 24 Hours of Lemons Accord race car. I dont care about instructions as I just weld up all of the brackets and mounting myself. But the sliders themselves look like they are good quality from your review.

I'm on the hunt for a new exhaust after my Cleib 70mm single broke one of the hangers and tore a huge hole in the resonator after about 5 years. I've put maybe 20k miles on it, no track days, but tons of hard driving at the dragon. How is the S2k 24 years old and there's still no good exhaust solutions on the market? The Revel Medallion replica looks good, but it's only for 2000-2005 models. Has anyone tried LHT's Ti exhausts?

Also works on a 2003 mx5 btw, just done it with some layers off weather proof tape instead of washers 👍

youre right! its definetly oem, i just bought it. the pilot bearing is still okay in my opinion. glad i bought sachs on rockauto, not oem

Tooling of the spool is insufficient as the key end of the cable doesn't lock in properly. Combine this with straight braided cables along with springs makes it practically impossible. I've even created a jig to lock both springs down and the cable is still the wrong length for the correct tension. I'll do my best to modify and make work.

So you just let it drip out until there's only clean fluid and you close the bleeder?

Do you happen to know the part number for the 12 mm nuts ? One of mine somehow got messed up when reinstalling and now won’t go in anymore

Hey I have a problem. I took the starter out clean it and greased all the components. Now when I start the car up the car makes a weird super loud winding noise and it starts to smell. Any advice?
